MBA application documents - Forum

I'm planning on applying to an MBA program and am not entirely sure what documents and transcripts I need to have available. I studied abroad for a year in Scotland during my undergrad and though I have those grades on my official school transcript, is it necessary to also have the transcript from the Scottish school as well?

Hi Kaitlin,

The documents required for MBA applications can vary between business schools, but will generally include:

Official transcripts
Letters of recommendation from academic or professional sources
A statement of purpose
An updated CV
GMAT / GRE scores, if applicable
IELTS scores (or equivalent), if necessary

In terms of your study abroad period in Scotland, if you grades from that time are included on the transcripts from your home university, I do not anticipate this being a problem. However, I would recommend checking on this with every business school that you apply to.

Best of luck,
