Master of Business Administration in Energy Management - A 2-year part-time MBA program at ISM

The MBA in Energy Management is aimed at university graduates who have a minimum of two years' work experience. The part-time MBA degree program held at ISM’s campus in Dortmund is designed to develop candidates' business skills and energy management knowledge.
Throughout the program, academic knowledge is complemented by practical case studies and applied research. Seminars, case studies, business projects and an integrated project in the USA, presented by renowned academics and business lecturers, will enable participants to develop a comprehensive vision for today's energy sector.
The MBA in Energy Management can be completed in four semesters and consists of the following core modules, taught in English and German.
- General Management: Activities / Processes, Organization / Human Resources, Interacting in an International Environment, Finance.
- Energy Management – Legal & Technical Aspects of the Industry Sector, Asset Optimization, Portfolio Evaluation & Optimization on Interacting Markets.

Application and Admission Requirements
The program is geared towards ambitious business thinkers with entrepreneurial skills who wish to further develop their knowledge with current approaches for the energy sector. The admission process consists of an application, followed by a personal interview with the candidate. The applicants are required:
- A minimum of 2 years' professional experience
- English language proficiency (TOEFL scores)
- A first study program, completed with a minimum study period of six semesters at a university or
- An equivalent foreign higher education establishment
Candidates whose native language is not German should demonstrate good working knowledge and ability to complete the academic requirements.
