Online Masters of Science in Project Management - Oil & Gas specialization
The MSc in Project Management with a specialised track in Oil & Gas examines the economic nature and structure of the oil, gas and energy sectors, provides the skills necessary to deliver advanced project management, and dissects all fundamental project management disciplines and phases.
Modules include Introduction to Project Management, Economics of Oil, Gas and Energy, and Managing Energy Sources. All online MSc in Project Management programmes are covered by the University of Liverpool Management School’s AACSB Accreditation.

Application and Admission Requirements
Prior to taking this Online MSc in Project Management from The University of Liverpool Online, the following are required:
- Bachelor’s degree equivalent to UK Honours degree.
- English equivalent to minimum of IETS test level 6.5 overall.
- TOEFL 580 paper based test / 88 Internet based test / TEEP 6.5

The Online Oil & Gas MSc in Project Management consists of six core modules cover core subjects such as Planning and Budgeting, Execution and Control, Contracts and Procurement, and Sustainability. You will then specialise by studying:
Economics of Oil, Gas and Energy
Aim: To acquire intricate knowledge of the oil, gas and energy industries, and be introduced to the economic principles, concepts and practices associated with international petroleum and other energy markets.
Managing Energy Sources
Aim: To introduce the framework, concepts and principles associated with managing international energy markets.
Crucially, you will also be introduced to areas such as Organisational and Behavioural Management. An understanding of organisations, people and cultures is crucial in the today’s multicultural workplace, and essential to successful project management.
You will complete your qualification with an original dissertation. You should graduate with the knowledge and expertise necessary to carry out project management design, planning, execution and delivery on time and on budget.
Moreover, you will have a thorough grounding across a variety of project management methodologies. This will open up flexible career structures in senior executive management within the oil and gas environment.
