The overall aim of the Online MBA programme is to provide you with a comprehensive education and postgraduate qualification in all aspects of management. Its structure gives you the flexibility to influence your own learning outcomes through your choice of elective modules. By the fifth module, students apply their learning to the problems and opportunities of leading and managing through disruptive change, of strategically aligning organisations for the future, and of appreciating and managing an organisation’s “triple bottom line”.
This online MBA programme offers students a range of recommended modules, in areas such as General Management, International Business, Marketing, Entrepreneurship or Finance & Accounting, or students can choose a selection of electives to create their own self-designed programme of study.
EFMD CEL accreditation
The European Foundation for Management Development (EFMD) is an organisation that has proven its commitment to international business with the EQUIS Accreditation. The EFMD has now developed an accreditation dedicated to raising the standards of technology-enhanced learning programmes worldwide.
The online MBA programme is CEL-accredited by the European Foundation for Management Development and is covered by the University of Liverpool Management School’s AACSB Accreditation.

Application and Admission Requirements
Prior to taking the Online Master of Business Administration from The University of Liverpool Online, the following are required:
- Bachelor’s degree equivalent to UK Honours degree.
- English equivalent to minimum of IETS test level 6.5 overall.
- TOEFL 580 paper based test / 88 Internet based test / TEEP 6.5
- 2 years of relevant work experience.
Please note that The University of Liverpool Online also evaluates applicants on an individual basis.
MBA duration:
The MBA takes on average 30 months to complete. However, since students progress at their own pace, you may choose to complete your studies in as little as 24 months or spread them over 60 months.
Online MBA Programme Structure:
The Online MBA programme comprises five core modules and three electives, culminating in a dissertation. The first module is 9 weeks in length which starts with a week long brief introduction to the programme, the learning platform and then continues with the module content. Each following module is eight weeks in length. By taking one module at a time, you can explore a specific subject in depth without distractions.
