The IAE Lyon IMBA - An Executive MBA for the International Environment
The International EMBA at IAE Lyon is an exceptional program for exceptional candidates. This part-time program delivered in the heart of Lyon incorporates talented faculty, international guest speakers and a diverse classroom of ambitious and forward-thinking individuals.
A Weekend EMBA with an International Focus
The IAE Lyon International EMBA is designed as a part-time program, enabling candidates to earn their MBA without interrupting their careers. Meeting each Friday and Saturday, the International EMBA is available to candidates living throughout France and abroad.
Candidates of the IAE EMBA come from a wide spectrum of cultural, professional and academic backgrounds, providing for a rich and rewarding mix of experiences and expertise in the MBA classroom. With differing perspectives, EMBA candidates build a multidisciplinary understanding of business and learn a great deal from the experiences of their peers. Courses are also tailored to address the nuances of particular business regions

At IAE Lyon, candidates of the International EMBA will develop their sense and abilities as leaders, connect with faculty and nurture lifelong relationships with their fellow candidates. The curriculum is largely based on collaborative and experiential learning. EMBA candidates will engage with in-class case studies, role play activities and tuition on the latest best practice in international and multi-cultural management. Over the 11 month program, candidates will have endless opportunities for personal and professional growth.

Application and Admission Requirements
Candidates of the IAE Lyon EMBA will learn as much from their peers as they will from lectures and faculty. For this reason, IAE Lyon aims to recruit participants with diverse cultural, professional and academic backgrounds and experiences.
Admissions Requirements
- A Bachelor's degree from an accredited university
- 3 years or more of full-time work experience
- Command of Business English
Application Requirements
- A detailed English language cover letter
- 2 letters of recommendation from academic or professional sources.
MBA Program Content & Structure
The goal of the International EMBA is to prepare candidates for senior roles in the global environment. IAE Lyon's faculty, consisting of professors and practicing consultants, work hands-on with candidates to create a curriculum that is in tune the contemporary need for managers to understand organizations, employees and clients/customers from a holistic perspective.
The Internationa EMBA is made up of 12 core courses and 3 elective modules.

The program will come to an end with a compulsory dissertation, which is based on and international business content or on a specified project requiring the application of management theories.

Graduates will be awarded an Executive Master of Business Administration with a specialization in International Management from IAE Lyon.
IAE Lyon is accredited by EFMD EPAS, is a member of Universit de Lyon and has been recognized for excellence by the SMBG.
