Traditional MBA or MBA in Human Resource Management - Which is right for me?

The difference between a traditional MBA and an MBA that is specialized in Human Resource Management is primarily in the number of specialized HR courses the program contains. A traditional MBA program requires the individual to complete general course work in core areas of business administration. Traditional MBA programs allow  individuals to gain employment in a number of different industries. An MBA that is specialized in HR gives students the opportunity to tailor their coursework to fit their interests and better prepare them for a career in a specific industry. If you are having trouble deciding which program is right for you, contact one of our education organizers here.

Enhancing my business management abilities
Enhancing my business management abilities
SOM-AIT has helped expand my view of the world by introducing me to the different aspects of business management through its MBA curriculum.

With an international faculty, case studies that link theories to practical implementation and workshops in small groups, the School of Management offered my classmates and I many opportunities to develop a sound understanding of what it takes to be a General Manager today – nurturing a dynamic relationship with diverse individuals and organizational culture.

My MBA is fast-paced
My MBA is fast-paced: between class, group work and business case reading, you really never stop. But don't worry, you always manage to find a space for social activities in Milano, and club activities as well (skiing, sailing, golfing, wine tasting...). It's challenging and it's enriching: many new subjects all together, the great diversity of the student body, you start thinking about the next steps in your career, especially during the summer internship search period: this will all become relevant in your career, as you become a global professional, as well as in your personal growth.

One Year MBA helped me to define my career goals
My mentor helped me to define my career goals. Together we prepared a blueprint about a my career path, we developed a skill matrix of what needed to be improved to achieve that path and finally we looked over specific positions that would help me building those skills.
