Who You Study With

You can expect to study with individuals from Sweden, Norway, Ireland, India, Malaysia and Singapore.  Their ages will range between 25 and 65, with the average being somewhere around 39yrs. Global Exchange Events

Global Exchange Events are three to five day residential workshops where you are totally immersed in the practical reality of leadership and management in a global context. They take place in different parts of the world to immerse you in different approaches to business. Our Global Walkabout could take you to places as diverse as Kuala Lumpur, Dubai or Oslo. Each city is selected for its representation of a particular business community, cultural ethos and economic history.

Admission Requirements

Entry requirements for The Open University MBA:

  • Recognised undergraduate degree or equivalent. If you do not have this type of qualification you can enter the MBA via The Open University’s Professional Certificate in Management.
  • At least 3 years management experience.
  • Competent in English language, ideally IELTS Level 6.5.(a test is available should this be required).
  • Valid passport for travel to the Global Exchange Events.

Program Cost

The price of The Open University MBA is £16,489, when paid in a single payment upfront, and £17,730, when the amount is paid in three installments.
