The Kellogg–HKUST Executive MBA program is a
premium educational experience devoted to upgrading executives’
knowledge and management skills. The program encourages participants to
think differently, look at their operations in a new way and
relentlessly question and challenge.
It
is tailor-made for senior executives in Asia who have attained
positions of leadership in their organizations. It helps them to raise
the bar and understand the challenges ahead in a global context.
The
program develops competencies required by executives to make their
businesses more competitive. Executive MBA participants learn about the
latest global management tools and concepts.
Organized
in short but intensive modules, participants take two courses each
month. Courses cut across traditional subject areas, providing tools
and techniques for solving complex managerial problems. Emphasis is on
three specific areas of management skills:
• Behavior in learning organizations
• International management
• Managing groups of co-operating firms for international competitiveness
Upon
successful completion, participants are awarded one Master of Business
Administration degree issued jointly by Northwestern University and
HKUST. Graduates become alumni of both universities.
