The Full-Time MBA Program from Mays Business School at Texas A&M University
maximizes the return on your educational investment. Our rigorous, innovative curriculum
allows you to complete your MBA program in just 16 months, or extend your experience
to further customize your degree. Unique educational experiences that challenge
our MBAs to apply their learning are built in to the program - ensuring that our
graduates are able to immediately apply the skills and tactics learned in the classroom.
By keeping admission standards high and class sizes small, we are able to ensure that our students receive personal attention in every aspect of their MBA experience. By limiting our program to two cohorts of approximately 40 students each, our program creates a learning environment that encourages dynamic interaction between students and the accomplished faculty that teach in the MBA program. This small class size also allows for one-on-one attention from program staff and the dedicated professionals in our Graduate Business Career Services office.
Beyond earning an MBA from Mays, our graduates benefit from an expansive network of MBA graduates, and from the international power of the Texas A&M University “Aggie Network.”

The Full-Time MBA Program from Texas A&M's Mays Business School is highly selective, admitting approximately 25 percent of applicants each year.
The admissions committee reviews applicants in the following areas:
International students require TOEFL scores above a minimum of 600 on the paper test or 250 on the computerized version. If presenting the TOEFL iBT, a score of 100 is required. As an alternative to the TOEFL, international students may present the IELTS with a score of 7 or higher
Candidates who hold an accredited baccalaureate degree (of at least three years) from a college, institution or university of recognized standing, or its equivalent, will receive consideration for admission.
Additionally, for Indian students, the Associate Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants final examination is recognized by the Association of Indian Universities as the equivalent of an Indian master’s degree for higher studies, if a bachelor’s degree is obtained first. Applicants must complete all requirements and obtain an associate membership through the Institute of Chartered Accounts.
Full-time management experience is strongly recommended. Management is defined as direct responsibility for the assets of an organization, management of people, special projects, processes, databases, budgets, etc.
As part of the curriculum, all Full-Time MBA students complete a Business Consulting Project as a three-credit hour course in the fourth term. Working in teams, students apply knowledge and skills gained in the program to solve a real-world business problem for an actual client. The projects allow students to increase their work experience prior to graduation, expand their professional network, and enhance their long-term career possibilities.
Clients for the Business Consulting Project range from Fortune 500 companies to small start-ups and represent both non-profit and for-profit companies.
Schedule: Students in the Full-Time MBA attend a full schedule of classes Monday – Thursday with classes and/or events on alternating Fridays. All classes are held at Mays Business School on the Texas A&M University campus in College Station, Texas. A new class of students begins each fall.
Length: The Full-Time MBA Program curriculum is completed in 16 months over an 18-month period (August - December). Mandatory classes are not held during the summer months.
Curriculum: Students complete 49 credit hours over the 16 month curriculum. The first year is divided into three terms, which allows students to have completed 50% more coursework before their summer internship than most 2 year MBA programs.
