Entrance requirements

A bachelor degree in any discipline from a recognised tertiary institution. Preference is given to students with a Grade Point Average (GPA) of Credit.

Late applications will be accepted subject to places being available. Prospective students are encouraged to enquire about possible vacancies in the degree at any time.

Flexible delivery

Full-time study

The program of study is divided equally across three study periods: four courses per session (Semester 1, Semester 2 and spring/summer study period). Students can commence in either Semester 1 (February) or Semester 2 (July). Classes are held during the day.

Part-time study

The program of study is divided equally across six study periods: two courses per session (Semester 1, Semester 2 and spring/summer study period). Students can commence in either Semester 1 (February) or Semester 2 (July). Classes are held during the evening.

Business mentoring

Business mentoring in your MBAThe MBA degree is designed for students with limited work experience. As a way of assisting your career progression and increasing your employment opportunities, the MBA includes a Business Mentoring Program. Our business mentors all have at least 15 years experience, are leaders in their fields and provide guidance and support to prepare you for your working life. Students work with their business mentors throughout the MBA degree but this engagement is also formalised through the course Work and Careers.

Students will engage in a range of activities including seminars with guest speakers, group work and case studies, individual mentoring and coaching and career preparation.

The mentoring program covers:

  • Judgement in decision-making
  • Career and self-management
  • Working in Australian organisations
  • Working in Asia
  • Working in a family business

Continuing studies

Double Master—MBA/Master of Commerce

Graduate with a second master by studying the Master of Commerce (MCom). On completion of your Master of Business Administration, an additional four courses of study from a business discipline will allow you to gain a second qualification—a Master of Commerce.

Expenses / Tuition Fees

Tuition fees for 2010: A$34,560 total master degree ($240 per credit point)
