An MBA from the Wharton School
An MA in International Studies from the University of Pennsylvania's School of Arts & Sciences
Advanced applied language study in one of eight languages: Arabic, Chinese, French, German, Japanese, Portuguese, Russian, and Spanish
Two-month, in-country immersion programs

Lauder applicants need submit only GMAT scores directly to the Wharton Admissions Office
All applicants to Lauder must complete an Oral Proficiency Interview (OPI) in their proposed language with Language Testing International (LTI).
The OPI, which assesses oral-aural proficiency, is a 15-20 minute telephone conversation in the target language with a tester certified by the American Council of Teaching of Foreign Languages (ACTFL). Language test ratings are valid for a single application cycle.
The eight languages and corresponding regions available for study are: Arabic (Middle East); Mandarin Chinese and Japanese (East Asia); French, German, and Russian (Europe); Portuguese and Spanish (Latin America). Applicants must have an Advanced level of proficiency, preferably Advance-Mid, in one of these languages at the time they apply. Applicants to the Arabic track may be admitted at the Intermediate level. Only these languages are offered at this time.
Tuition fees for 1st and 2nd year at the Lauder Institute are $18,170 and $7,900 respectively.
Tuition and Fees for Academic Year 2007-2008 at the Wharton School is $47,236. This includes $1,600 Pre-Term fee.
