Description of International Full-time MBA

Taught in English over 15 months, the programme attracts students from over 45 different countries world-wide. Participants emerge with the skills to think critically, creatively and analytically about the most defining issues in global business. They are taught by top-rated faculty, mentors and multinational corporate managers in one of most diverse classes of any MBA programme.

A key goal of this programme is to deliver a behavioural transformation in participants. Students emerge from the programme with the personal skills to connect, inspire, motivate and leverage powerful networks across diversity - a defining quality of successful business leadership. Participants acquire these skills in two of the most experiential learning environments of any MBA programme: by 'living' management and the Personal Leadership Development (PLD). Using their daily experiences within RSM's extremely diverse population PLD encourages enhanced intrapersonal skills understanding and interpersonal communication skills.

Application and qualification

Professional achievements and goals: a minimum of two years post-graduate work experience and clear professional targets that you have set for yourself

Academic excellence: a degree from University or an institute of Higher Education, together with a recent GMAT score

An international outlook: the ability to interact and work with people from significantly diverse cultures and backgrounds

English proficiency: strong knowledge of English. If English is not your mother tongue, a TOEFL or IELTS (International English Language Testing System) may be submitted to support your application.

Personal qualities: flexibilty and a good sense of humour.

Summer Associateship

Our Summer Associateship is an integral part of preparing you for real-world management. Held during the third semester, you will take your new knowledge, skills and ideas into a role at a top company or organisation. This is your chance to develop key contacts in a desired industry, or to explore different functions, industries, or even countries. 16% of our students accept full-time offers sourced from their summer internship.

We have a network of international and local business contacts for potential internships; our Career Management Centre also organises on-campus recruitment events. Many of our students find that immersion in the new world of their MBA class results in them choosing an internship somewhere they had never previously considered.

At the end of your summer associateship you will submit a company analysis or an approved research project, which will be graded at the conclusion of the period. This is a unique opportunity for you to expand your knowledge and understanding in a safe, controlled environment.

Exchange Programmes

RSM maintains close relationships with over 30 of the best business schools in the world. About one third of our MBA students go on exchange annually, with the application made at the beginning of your second semester and places allocated on a competitive basis.

You will need to apply for a particular exchange place giving your motivation for why you wish to go on exchange, and in particular a motivation for why you wish to go to your chosen school.
