HEC Paris part-time MBA

HEC’s part-time MBA program attracts young, high-potential managers between the ages of 25 and 35, offering a unique opportunity to enhance their knowledge base, maximize their leadership potential and expand their corporate network, all whilst maintaining a balance between their personal and professional lives. Through a “learning by doing” teaching approach the newly acquired skills can be quickly put into practice in professional environments.

The program is divided into two phases. During the fundamental phase participants develop comprehensive management knowledge and techniques in 11 core subjects including economics, finance, marketing, organizational behavior and ethics. In the customized phase part-time participants choose from a range of electives, and carry out a consulting project to put their technical training into practice, making a meaningful impact on real organizations. International experience is gained through a mandatory exchange with the Indian Institute of Management in Bangalore, and some participants go on exchange to UCLA. In place of electives, participants can opt to carry out a Major with HEC Paris Executive Education, in a range of subjects such as Luxury, and Aerospace and Aviation.

The part-time MBA program is delivered in one week modules approximately once per month over 24 months, allowing participants to focus on studies for a week whilst networking with fellow professionals. The program promotes international participation, which allows connections to be forged between individuals and cultures, and therefore establish knowledge, competencies and points of view. The HEC part-time MBA option has one intake per year in January.
