Description of Global Executive MBA

For 18 months, you learn with other executives averaging 14 years of work experience while participating in the world's most flexible and international MBA program. This pioneering program, launched in 1996, combines unique residential sessions in Asia, Latin America, Europe and North America with Internet-enabled distance learning allowing students to live and work from anywhere in the world.

You complete 15 courses which are grouped into five terms, three course per term. Each term includes a three-week reading period, a two-week residential classroom session, a one-week break, 10-12 weeks of Internet-enabled course work and a one-week break. As the class travels across the globe, students take the curriculum together in the same sequence.

Application and Admission Requirements

  • Preferably a minimum of 10 years mid- to senior- level professional experience, current employment in a managerial position, increasing level of responsibility with current or imminent global responsibilities
  • An undergraduate degree from an accredited four-year college or university, or equivalent
  • Strong managerial and leadership ability, proven team communication and time management skills
  • Quantitative achievement and familiarity with current desktop software applications
  • Proficiency in written and spoken English.

    10 weeks total:
    2 weeks in North America
    2 weeks in Europe
    2 weeks in Latin America
    2 weeks in Asia
    2 weeks in North America

    Residencies are followed by 10 weeks of Internet-enabled distance learning.

    Expenses / Tuition Fees

    $123,500 Tuition includes books, class materials, a laptop computer, full technology support, and lodging and meals at the five residential sessions. Tuition does not include travel to and from the residential sessions.
