Global Executive MBA

For admission to the Global Executive MBA, an applicant must have:

• Completed a bachelor’s degree, graduate diploma/certificate or equivalent at an institution approved by the Faculty and at a standard acceptable to the Faculty - minimum Credit (65%) grade average
• Approximately 10 years relevant professional experience; and
• An English proficiency of IELTS 7.0 or equivalent (international students).

Course Structure

The University of Sydney’s Global Executive MBA, comprises a mix of self directed online modules, an in-company project and 5 x 2 week face-to-face residential blocks held approximately every 4 months over an 18 month period, from February 2011 to June 2012.

Participants are required to undertake preparation prior to each module, which is an achievable amount for busy professionals.

Pre-course Online Modules

Prior to commencing in February 2011, you will complete a series of online modules to ensure a minimum level of expertise exists among program participants for all baseline knowledge areas. These modules cover financial statements, microeconomics, statistics and spreadsheets.

Conducted in partnership with one of the world’s leading distance learning systems, you will be self-tested, instructed and then re-tested at your own pace to help you fill in any identified gaps in your core business knowledge.

Based on real experiences spanning four continents this hands-on program takes a fresh look at business from a global perspective.
