Description of Fully Employed MBA (FEMBA)

Fully Employed MBA Program (FEMBA)The 33 months of FEMBA allow maximum exposure to the wealth of assets available at UCLA Anderson. FEMBA students enjoy full access to the resources, recruiting and corporate events of the Parker Career Management Center, as well as full-time FEMBA career counseling on a one-on-one basis. The FEMBA Program is taught by the same faculty, bestows the same degree and follows a similar curricular plan to Anderson's full-time MBA Program.

Application and Admission Requirements

Each applicant is carefully considered on the basis of past academic performance, admission essays, employment history, letters of recommendation, GMAT and other test scores, motivation and career progression. Participants are selected for their overall abilities and the valuable contributions that they can make to the program.

Candidates must hold at least a four-year bachelor's degree from a college or university of fully-recognized standing. No specific undergraduate major is required.

Global Access Program

The Global Access Program (GAP) at the UCLA Anderson School of Management is a unique educational program that matches students in the Fully-Employed MBA (FEMBA) Program with existing international technology companies to develop a comprehensive business strategy to enable the companies to move to the next stage of corporate development. These strategies are based on extensive primary and secondary research.

Expenses / Tuition Fees

The total cost for the FEMBA program for the academic year 2008-2009 is $28,800* (estimated). This year-one total cost covers tuition, university fees, books and supplies, use of the Anderson School's computing facilities, selected speaker events and campus parking. International Field Study-related expenses, and laptop computer are not included.
