The 68-credit full-time MBA programme consists of a set of compulsory courses and additional elective courses. It is designed to lay a solid foundation of management fundamentals, while providing the flexibility to tailor a programme that fits individual interests and career ambitions. Students can choose to focus on general business management, or select one of two concentrations in Finance or Marketing. Additionally, CEIBS students have the option tailor their MBA experience further by opting to take part in the school's impressive international exchange programme with the world's top-tier business schools, or to gather experience during a summer internship.

The CEIBS Full-time MBA Programme Requirements:
Participants in the CEIBS MBA programme include many of the top students in Asian Pacific Region. It also has the most diversified student body (44.9% overseas students in 2011 intake) among mainland China's business schools. This international student body creates a unique multi-cultural learning environment that the school has become known for. One of CEIBS’ most significant features is its China focus. CEIBS teaches the most advanced international business theories while attaching great importance to the practical application of these skills in China. In 2009, four new elements were added to the MBA curriculum.These elements aim to equip participants with unparalleled knowledge of the Chinese market. Elements include Chinese language courses, HR in China, Chinese Economic, Political, Cultural and Trade issues, and Contemporary Issues in Chinese Business.

Although teaching methods vary by subject, lectures and case studies are applied to real-world contexts thanks to the CIEBS professors and their extensive experience in the business world. Many cases are selected from top schools like Harvard Business School; others are taken from CEIBS’ own pool of China-specific cases written by faculty and staff of the Case Development Center. In addition to mainstream textbooks, teaching materials are drawn from a variety of current sources such as academic journals, magazines, and videos.

CEIBS is the leading Chinese international business school. All three of CEIBS programs are ranked in the Global Top 30 by the Financial Times. Established in Shanghai in 1994, CEIBS is based on its own campus in the Pudong district of Shanghai. CEIBS is a not-for-profit joint venture established under an agreement between MOFTEC and the European Commission. Additionally, CEIBS operates programs in Beijing, Shenzhen, and certificate programmes in developing regions of China.
CEIBS is China's first business school to have its own campus. Designed by world-renowned architects, Pei Cobb Freed and Partners, the school's architectural beauty combines Western architecture with the subtlety of Chinese beauty and grace, creating a unique identity for the 5 hectare site in Pudong. The school's facilities are connected with an arcade walkway that encloses the main garden, often referred to as the bamboo forest.
The school's facilities are impressive, comfortable, and technologically advanced and are second to none in mainland China. Earlier this year, the school celebrated an increase in size of the campus to a total floor area of approximately 40,000m2 as part of the completion of its Phase II development of the main campus.
