A Flexible Curriculum
With only one required course, you can design a program to meet your career goals. This flexibility means you can target the depth of knowledge and skills a potential employer will value.

Experiential Learning
You have the chance to strengthen the connection between theory and practice. Testing the skills and knowledge you gained in a practical setting will stretch and prepare you for business leadership.

Dialogue in the Classroom
Don't expect to be fed information or be given rules to follow. Debate and discussion are the principal modes of learning at the GSB.You'll be asked by your professors and your peers to take an active role in uncovering the ideas and facts that will lead you to new solutions.

Program contents

Five major components make up the flexible curriculum. You choose what you take and when - based on your experience, education and goals.
  • Foundation courses focus on developing analytical tools and knowledge that support the rest of the curriculum.
  • Breadth courses cover the functional activities of business management and the environment in which firms operate.
  • General Management examines the concepts and techniques required for effective management.
  • Electives cover 13 concentrations offering students the chance to explore a topic more deeply.
  • Leadership training is so critical it's the only required class. All students must take Leadership Effectiveness and Development (LEAD) where you'll work on key management skills such as negotiation, team-building, and giving feedback.

    Master of Business Administration (MBA)

    Expenses / Tuition Fees

    The tuition fee for 10 Courses during 9 months 2007-2008 is $44,500. 21 courses are required to complete the MBA. The cost of each course is $4,450.
