Executive MBA

The 2-year programme is divided into 4 academic semesters plus a one month practical project halfway through the programme. The classes are held on a regular schedule every other Friday (twice a month) as follows:

Friday 18.30 - 21.30 hours
Saturday 09.30 - 16.30 hours
Each calendar year begins with a full-time week on campus, and participants travel to one of our partner schools for a week-long international immersion experience in June or July.

One of the highlights of the EMBA Programme, as experienced by those who have gone before you, is the one-week international immersions immediately after the first and third academic terms. These study-abroad weeks will provide you with an opportunity to expand your cultural awareness and learn, first-hand, business in different economic and cultural environments.

A typical international experience week will consist of a series of lectures, discussions, and visits to companies and historical/cultural sites. On the last day of the programme you are challenged to share your experiences and learning by giving a presentation on an issue that was covered during the week, and this is done together with your study group.

In the past few years groups have gone to such diverse places as Brazil, China, Costa Rica, Croatia, Japan, Russia, Slovenia, and South Africa.

If you join the EMBA Programme and need to come to Rotterdam from afar, even abroad, you will be responsible for taking care of your own accommodation for the Friday evenings, and maybe the Saturday evenings too. In order to facilitate this for you, we have made arrangements for a special rate at a local hotel which is only a few minutes walk from our building. Prices are on the basis of bed and breakfast and most of the EMBA participants stay there during the EMBA weekends. The School provides a light supper on Friday evenings and lunch on Saturday at no extra cost.

The cost of tuition for the EMBA Programme is ? 42,000. The programme fees cover tuition, course materials and essential EMBA textbooks. The cost of accommodation at the two International Immersions is included in your programme fees; however, each participant is responsible for travel arrangements to and from the destination.
