Application and Admission Requirements

The EMBA Admissions Committee considers a number of factors in selecting candidates for the program. All candidates must demonstrate:

  • Ability to do graduate-level business and management course work
  • Management achievement and potential
  • Experience and abilities that will contribute to the overall educational process of the class
  • Willingness and ability to meet program time and course commitments
  • Weekend Schedule

    UCLA Anderson's two-year Executive MBA Program is designed for working professionals who have demanding jobs with high levels of responsibility. Experienced managers who have worked hard to achieve strong positions on the career paths of their choice need not leave those positions for full-time course work. To accommodate their busy schedules, UCLA Anderson arranges EMBA classes for Fridays and Saturdays of alternate weekends. All members of the Executive MBA class follow the same class schedule.

    The cost for the Executive MBA Program class of 2011 was $53,000 for the first year. The EMBA fees cover registration, tuition, books and software supplies, meals, parking, and off-campus residentials.
