The Henley Executive MBA means you don't need to stop work to do an MBA. In fact, most people don't. Many opt for our two year Executive MBA. You continue in your job and come to Henley once a month for an intensive 3/4 day workshop where you will interact directly with our faculty and industry speakers.
The Executive MBA program emphasises the importance of your personal development as a manager and includes personal support and business coaching. Also included are two international study visits of one week each in Year 1 and Year 2.
During the Executive MBA program you will work on company-based projects in higher-performance learning groups. This program is ideal for those managers who aspire to senior roles and wish to maintain their career path whilst studying for an Executive MBA.
Henley Executive MBA Themes - New for 2011
Delegates taking part in the Henley Executive MBA can now take advantage of the exceptional scope of expertise across Henley Business School through two newly launched themed MBAs.These themed MBAs are designed for experienced, practising managers who are looking for a world-renowned general management MBA but with a particular application to two different industries - Corporate Finance, and Real Estate.
The themed MBAs are delivered via a collaboration across the industry respected schools of Henley - the International Capital Markets Association (ICMA) Centre and the School of Real Estate and Planning. Participants will study as part of the Executive MBA program following the core curriculum whilst periodically studying tailored modules bespoke to their subject theme at appropriate points in time.
The Executive MBA and its international emphasis
The international element of the Executive MBA program gives participants further grounding, making you attractive to companies looking to expand their international business. Year 1 of the Executive MBA includes one international study visit. In the past Cape Town, Hong Kong, St Petersburg and Budapest have been included and in Year 2 of the Executive MBA, a week-long European study visit features.

How to apply for the Henley Executive MBA
The MBA programs at Henley are designed for experienced practicing managers who wish to enhance their development in both management competency as well as personal development as an individual.
To join the Henley EMBA program you will need:
- Three years' management experience
- Good first degree or equivalent professional or international qualification
- Evidence of competence in English - if it is not your first language
We welcome applications from candidates with exceptional management experience who may not meet all the formal criteria for admission. If you have a minimum of five years' managerial experience at a senior and strategic level we would be happy to consider an application. Our Admission Panel reviews all non-standard applications for suitability.

- The Henley MBA by Flexible Learning – three years by flexible learning combining face-to-face workshops with online learning.
