Boston University School of Management

Fusing the Art, Science, and Technology of Business

The Boston University School of Management develops new ideas and insights for scholars and practitioners through its faculty’s research; and by fusing the art, science, and technology of business in our teaching, we impart knowledge of business disciplines with a unique cross-functional perspective to prepare ethical, innovative leaders for the good of society worldwide. Our students acquire advanced teaming skills, appreciate the impact of management systems, and understand the strategic and operating applications of new technologies.

To make your mark in today’s networked enterprise, you need to be able to anticipate change, harness it, and make it work for your organization.

That kind of vision can only come from your ability to see the enterprise as a whole system. And from analytical skills that reveal interconnections and intersections—not just as they are today, but how they could evolve tomorrow. It’s a vision that emerges in leaders who have learned to build teams that work.

At Boston University School of Management, interdependency and long-term impact pervade teaching and learning at all levels: undergraduate, graduate, and executive. Graduates of every program stand out as builders and leaders. They rise rapidly in their careers. And they develop the staying power needed in an era when technological advancement drives innovation and competitive advantage—in every department of every organization, in all sectors.

The School has changed the face of management education by building on our deep and broad strength in information technology. We use that strength and experience to drive and support our curriculum. We create interdependence between what we teach and how we teach it. The result: a pioneering approach to management development.

Here are just two of the many reasons our departments and programs rank among the top, nationally and internationally.

Boston University School of Management is accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB). AACSB International accreditation represents the highest standard of achievement for business schools, worldwide.

In fact, the final semester has many topics at a higher level than CFA III. The program is rigorous, is 17 months long and you go through in a group (cohort), so you get to make friends and network. There is also a CFA Coach program outside of class that helps you prep for the CFA exams. Pass rates for all graduates taking Level I has...Read more
