Asian Institute of Technology (AIT)

The School of Management (SOM) at the Asian Institute of Technology (AIT) is Asia's pioneer business school for graduate studies offering Ph.D., MBA and diploma programs.

AIT provides exceptional individuals with a supportive environment in which they can develop their skills and aptitudes, helping them reach their professional goals and serve the interests of countries in the Asia-Pacific region.

The Asian Institute of Technology (AIT) promotes technological change and sustainable development in the Asian-Pacific region through higher education, research and outreach. Established in Bangkok in 1959, AIT has become a leading regional postgraduate institution and is actively working with public and private sector partners throughout the region and with some of the top universities in the world. Recognized for its multinational, multi-cultural ethos, the Institute operates as a self-contained international community at its campus located 40 km (25 miles) north of Bangkok, Thailand. The AIT campus is an environmental enclave north of the busy metropolis of Bangkok.

The School of Management, AIT was also one of the pioneer schools in discussion at the Workshop for Development and Collaboration of Asia-Pacific Business Schools in May 2001 in Seoul, Korea where a Declaration of Cooperation in “Strengthening Asia-Pacific Business Education” was signed by a Forum of Asian business schools leading to the Association of Asia-Pacific Business Schools (AAPBS).

Besides the usual labs and academic buildings, the main campus includes housing, sports, and medical facilities, a conference centre, and a library with over 230,000 volumes and 830 print and on-line periodicals.

What I learned in AIT helped me to understand and develop the ability to extract crucial information from data around me. You just don't know what valuable information you missed when you did not fully analyze the data and evaluate the situation well.

With the EMBA at AIT, knowledge and techniques, encompassing international students and professors sharing experience in classes, we achieve the next level of learning and learn how to look at things in a real different perspective.

At any point in your career, the AIT EMBA is valuable, being a junior, senior manager or executive. Your vision of business will never be the same after the program. You will enlarge your vision in all aspects of business, whatever position or background you have now.

The only risk you will take is to change your life for the better! After your EMBA new horizons will be opened for you, new opportunities and, without any doubt, your career will accelerate. And perhaps open your own company!

As a native Chinese, I had not left China before going to do my MBA at AIT in 1992. This has proved to be one of my most valuable investments I have ever made.

The MBA program opened up new perspectives for me. I was able to explore advanced and practical business management knowledge, share experiences and views with classmates from many different nationalities and cultural backgrounds. The MBA program helped me to adapt and develop my career in the context of globalization.

The AIT MBA program has been a stepping-stone for my career advancement. I highly recommend the MBA program in AIT to anyone who wishes to build a solid career in business management.
