MBA Admission Information - How to apply for Business School

Applying for a Master of Business Administration

Prior to the application and admissions process, it is important that you take into consideration a variety of factors when determining which MBA program is right for you. Some of these factors may include institution reputation, faculty members, program location, student population and school culture, financing opportunities, and total cost of the program.

After due consideration has been given, It is important to contact or research your chosen institutions to learn more about their application process, as it can vary greatly from institution to institution. Typically, there are some standard, mandatory elements of the application process for all programs.

These qualifications include:

  • Completion of an undergraduate (bachelor's degree) program from an accredited U.S. college or its equivalent in another country
  • Results of the Graduate Management Admissions Test (GMAT) or the Graduate Record Examination (GRE)
  • Application paperwork from the school of your choice
  • Results of the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) unless you have earned an undergraduate or master's degree in an English-speaking country or from an institution in which English is the language of instruction.
  • Interview - most programs require an interview, which are by invitation.
